Mary Carol Murdock

Mary Carol Murdock was elected Jackson County Tax Collector in November 2016 and took office in January 2017. Prior to becoming the Jackson County Tax Collector, Mrs. Murdock served as Assistant Tax Collector for almost eight years, as Tax Department Manager for 20 years and served as deputy clerk for six years.  To serve Jackson County as Tax Collector is an honor and privilege and her goal is to provide all taxpayers with the highest level of customer service while maintaining the public trust and meeting all legal requirements of the state agencies.
